iPad Air (1st Gen) Repair in Houston

Glass, charging ports and batteries for the original iPad Air. Free diagnostic.

H Wireless repairs the original iPad Air (2013) in Houston, including cracked 9.7-inch glass, Lightning ports, home buttons and batteries. It is an older iPad, so we will tell you plainly whether a repair is worth it for how you use it. Walk in to our Telephone Road shop for a free diagnostic.

Glass-only repair on the first iPad Air

The first iPad Air has a non-laminated screen, so the touch glass and the LCD are separate. When only the glass is cracked we replace just the glass, which keeps the repair affordable on an older device.

Is an iPad Air 1 worth fixing?

The iPad Air 1 no longer gets new iPadOS versions, and some newer apps will not install on it. It still works well as a recipe screen, photo frame, music player or a kid's video tablet. If that is how you use it, a glass or charging port repair makes sense. If you need current apps, we will tell you honestly before you spend money.

Common iPad Air 1 problems

  • Cracked glass from drops
  • A Lightning port worn after years of charging
  • A battery that drains quickly or won't hold a charge
  • A home button that sticks
